It works very well. I noticed that I only tend to post about once a month. That is no way to keep up a Journal so I will now pledge to try and do better. Have to wrap up the big video project by Saturday. Man I'm glad they're paying me for this, I sure as Hell wouldn't be this bored for free.

Well here we go. T-girl just sent me a mahvelous new LJ client. At least it's new to me. Happy Labor Day to anyone that stumbles upon this entry living in the good old US of A. Let's see if this works.

Finally figured out how to use Lochjournal to post. Forgot in my infinite wisdom that it is mouse driven and that the ability to post an entry was not in the menus as I supposed, but in a bunch of buttons at the top of the window. Oh well, cut off my legs and call me shorty. Problem solved.

Well I haven't posted in a very very long time almost 2 months. Tisk tisk. Not much has happened however. Been tweeting with the best of them, keeping up to date tweetwise with good friends. Some have had a rough go of it lately and I hope the come out the other side ok. I am really worried, but all I can do is try to help where I can.
I've re acquainted myself with someone who used to read my LJ back in the other days. Hope she adds me as a friend but we shall see. Big hi to Flourette, oh wait, can't remember if she's on my friend's page or not. If not, hi anyway. It's been so long I have even forgotten how to use my spiffy LJ client and can't find the help docs, so it's posting on the web for now.

Well it's certainly been a while. Don't even know how to begin or where. Today I am suffering, wel suffering is a tad strong bothered by a sore throat. Otherwise I'm ok. Everyone here is fine. Tomorrow is Dad's day and I will get to sleep in as is my usual yearly wish.
I have become fascinated with Cricket. Very interesting game. As Robin Williams said "Cricket is baseball on vallium." Interesting game though. But the T20 final game is Pakistan Vs. Sri Lanka and I'm much to provincial to care about two obscure Asian countries so I won't get up at 7:00 in the morning to hear it. The Women's Cricket match, England Vs. New Zealand sounds much more interesting but I'm not getting up at 3 A.M. for that either. Peh on that. Peh is an interesting all-incompassing word, AKA fooey, or well some other word with 4 letters proported to mean Formal Use of Carnal Knowledge. You figure it out. Far be it from me to demean this journal with a profanity. I mean shit after all must keep it clean.
Well that's all for now. I'll get back to posting on a regular basis, honest.

My fault. Been a week but now all the news is old news. Let's sum it up shall we? Yacht club went very well. We got new carpet so had to move all the furniture including a big entertainment unit and the electronics within to another room. Ended up moving it into the hall, effectively blocking 90% of the path to Jarred's room. Had to do some fancy accrobatics while holding him to get us in and out of there. Carpet got laid which is more than can be said for, um, never mind, moved furniture back.
Found out I had to play a gig on short notice. No, not with the band, as a solo. It actually was pretty neat. Got brownie points and a bucket of KFC for my efforts.
Not much happened yesterday to speak of. Today the Dodgers lost to the Cubs so now the Pads. Must. Win. Against the Rockies.

Nice to have Russ back home from Chico State. He has really grown into his own person being away for a year, but he still needs a constant stream of money. Think that's just the kid in him, but worry the wel will run dry. But he has landed a gig this summer so maybe that will be a learning experience.
Today was Ok. Back to the grind tomorrow. Too tired to bathe J-Man tonight so will do it tomorrow morning, making for a frantic first couple hours of the day. *sigh* Oh well picks your poison. I'm not really complaining, just kind of verbally mumbling to myself.

Oh wait! wait! Wow My Padres have won 10 in a row, including an amazing comeback in Phoenix today. They didn't show the stupid game on TV here so it's only hearsay, but heard they were down at least by 5, came back, tied the game in the 9th, and Mr. Chase Hedley did a two run blast. Think Blanco walked before him or singled. Had to do something to be on first right? Anyway GRATZ to the Padres. Now if we could just get the Damnable Dodgers to lose a couple games that would be sweet. They beat the Hapless Rockies, I don't believe that but you always hear broadcasters say it so what the hey, thought I would, too, 16 to 6. Peh on the Dodgers. TTFN again.
